Castannona is one of the best picks of territory. It is secret beach, which you enter through a winding maze of coves. Once there, the land spans out and can be divided into three recognizable parts; to the west lies the main “island,” to the east is the ocean, and north will take you to a grotto where the main hideaway is located. A variety of plants and shrubs dwell here, and although grass is harder to come by, you will learn to adapt very quickly. The ocean water is too painful to drink, so you must find the small pools of fresh water that the rain has accumulated that are scattered throughout the island. However, after the sun goes down and the temperature drops, the sunsets are spectacular and romance is always welcome. The grotto shines and shimmers in the moonlight with the crystals built up inside it.

Lucunova is perilous, but beautiful nonetheless. Only the quick and sure-footed can stand against the climb and weather. Crags and tracks lead up the mountainside, and at one point you must cross the dark, fast moving river that runs down into the other valleys and territories. Once at the top, there is a flat table-like stretch that serves you no protection from the wind, snow, or rain at all. Below, however, fir trees coat the steep sides and shrubs provide little food. But the moon always shows here, and it looks as if you could just touch it by stretching a bit.

These fields are filled with life, with love, a romantic place of roses and young innocence. A nasty wildfire has permanently scarred the land, bringing death to a large expanse of land to the east. The roses remain, but the life cannot be restored to the burned portion. Many feel an abrupt sadness while gazing over this prairie, sympathetic of the once-true beauty the land could have held.

A run-down barn stands by the borderline of the territory, its heavy doors flung open. On the other side of it, a large pasture extends out over at least six acres. Barbed wire fences line the edges of the territory and the barn, and although they’re potentially hazardous, nothing will try to come through them. Since there once was a farm running here, an underground spring was channeled to a well that sits, dusty, near the far side of the barn. Deep into the other acres there is a small forest, and through the fencing you can see the remains of an old plow field.

The twines and grooves of the Marsh are unforgiving and damning. Much like the Paravius Moorlands, shadow beasts lurk in the mire. Thankfully, there are no alligators in the waters, and food is easier to come by. There is one great swamp tree that overshadows all the rest, touching the skyline with its branches. Skeletons have sunk into the mud and water, and all of those who met their untimely death wander through the area in their afterlife. Spirits and wraiths are not uncommon in the dark. A ghost king is said to lead them, though it can’t be confirmed.

Great walls surround the Warden’s perimeter, blocking view of all else on the horizon. Fog shrouds the territory no matter what time of day, and a veil of mystery chokes out all other thoughts when one looks upon Arcarctus. Inside those guarded walls lies a land of plenty, but it is hidden in the shadows. Only the lead here knows what goes on behind them.

Xanontana is a proud territory, once led by two fierce rebels. However, bloodshed scarred the land, and now the earth takes on a red hue. Food is adequate, and water has always been plentiful. While health is ensured here, the borders are weak, and invasions are certain unless the owner enforces their presence.

Back country, rural Dalicum is a quiet place. A boreal theme, dense underbrush and forest-like background. Like Hellingsly, a few successful farms had been going until work ran out and the farming business went under. Coyotes and wolves lurk in the deepest parts of the woods, but out in the open your only enemy is the occasional hunter or wild dog. Since it’s placed on a low slope, and rainfall is heavy, floods are a caution. If you can stay near high ground, though, you’ll be fine.
