The Sepulchre

Jeretho, a nomadic dark many centuries ago, had a passion for the dead and poetry. The half-graveyard was a favorite site of his; it gave him inspiration, “talking” to the dead. To the east lies the cemetery, and to the south is the main entrance, which is a pile of rotten carcasses and decalcifying bones stacked high into a kind of archway. All there is is dirt and bodies, and a rotten stench that can be smelled for miles. The river from Lucunova and Romentia flows here as well, and that’s a good thing -- it’s the only source of water around for several leagues. Jeretho was killed here after his sanity had long since gone, and his corpse lay somewhere within the ground. It is said that the spirits of the dead whisper and recite the poems that he had loved so much every night.
