No New Posts Anaïs Romentia

Despite its formal name, Romentia holds a touching, romantic past that has been told to children of the light alliance for decades. Long ago, two lovers fled from their families to be together, and they found themselves in the breath-taking land that would come to be named after them. Crystalline streams cut the earth in two, dividing each side; one to be the mainlands, one to be a glade where the two lovers hid. In said glade, smaller transudes pool on the earthy floor while a leafy canopy beckons shade and comfort. Fireflies emerge and waft lazily, setting the shadows aglow in the dead of night whilst crickets hum lullabies. Opposite the stream lies a field of thick pasturage. The runaway couple stayed here for many years, having never been found. Both died in Romentia as well. Such a historic place would be an honor to own, for any one of any alliance.

No New Posts Lyrivon Ravine

Lyrivon can be potentially dangerous, its fast moving current a constant threat of drowning, but if you learn your way around, more likely than not you’ll discover the true beauty of the land. The torrent snakes down and around Lucunova Summit, explaining the dark waters and unusual depth. Dense forests hang tightly to the edges of the river, where shells and rocks have been churned and broken into dangerous shards from years of the brutal abuse from the water. A lightning struck tree has fallen and is now cemented to the shoreline, so it’s a part-way bridge. It isn’t safe to cross though, so don’t attempt it. The only shelter available is deep in the woods, beneath a large, hollowed out boulder that could only suit one, maybe two average-sized equines.

No New Posts Danonona Valley

Danonona Valley folds out far across the distance, where the sun always shines and the birds always sing. Forests thin out until there is a ledge, which arcs down to the valley itself. Thick, sweet grass grows promptly in the rich soil, and deer are often seen foraging alongside the other animals. Past the cool pond is a great boulder, snugly fit between two trees. Behind that boulder is a large indent in the earth, big enough that an average-sized equine could slip in it and his head would be unseen. Around the edges of the gully is a trail with an excellent view of the territory and the next, so a lead would have no trouble watching its herd from this height.

No New Posts Segundica Forest

Segundica is another historic place that every light must know about. Said to be the home of the god Athan, the ancient forest holds secrets and tales that no one has been able to figure out. The massive age-old trees tower into the sky, some even skimming the clouds, their trunks having thousands of rings. Their leaves flutter down constantly, as if in a leaf-rain. Its floor holds heap after heap of leaves, moss, and underbrush. Deer trails split up the area, and the largest leads to a thicket in the bottom of one of the tree’s roots. It’s open and roomy, big enough to fit two or three equines comfortably. At night, it is said that fairies dance and hold festivals, and that is why so many mushrooms come up the next morning.

No New Posts Decennia's Highlands

The Highlands are cold, barren, and rainy. Like a tundra, it stretches for hundreds of miles with nothing else in sight except for the earth, the horizon, and perhaps one or two trees. As mentioned before, the temperature is always low as it rains almost constantly, never once seeing a ray of sunlight. Since the ground is level, you won’t need to worry about floods, but it is cautioned that any herd to live here will most likely be sick most of the time. They might even die off, with the lack of food and threat of sickness. Decennia’s Highlands will likely just be passed through instead of claimed.

No New Posts Virentand Virgo

Virgo is shrouded by water all year, as it is in the middle of a lake. You will need to swim to get across, but unlike Rhodennius Bay and Castanonna Spiagga, the water is fresh and drinking it will not harm you. The island itself is a natural aviary, plagued by birds of all species all the time. The center of the land is deeper than the rest, as that is the mainlands. There is no shelter here, save for the few trees, so one will have to rely on their companions.
