I AM HUNGRY FOR SOME UNREST i wanna push this beyond a peaceful protest Leviathan hated wandering. Hated it with a passion. He didn't know how in the world he survived so long without a home, but he wouldn't stand for it any longer. Too bad half the lands here were full of dead bodies or just plain uninhabitable. He could understand the dark horses' affinity for destruction, but was it too much to ask to clean up after you've terrorized something?
The closest Leviathan could get to "liveable" was a sandy bay. Hot, but with plenty of trees for shade. Water, food, no death and decay. Good on the surface, at least. Leviathan decided to explore a little before making a decision.
Hot, of course, but really, it was the best choice. Someday he'd have to invade a light land and take over one of the nice valleys or forests to live in. Good plan. After he got a herd together and stuff. Leviathan reared up and screamed a claim. Stereotypical, he knew, but was there any other good way to claim anything? No.

Arrow was passing silently through the territory when she heard the stallions scream. She quickened her pace, now trotting. "This place is nice but there's a probably a cocky stallion here now." She chuckled to herself. She slowed down and walked towards a stream thirsty from the long walk. She put her head down her mane falling towards her face, she shook her head hoping it would move. Arrow moved in deeper and layed down in the stream, it was hot. She stood and looked around realizing she was closer to the beach.

I AM HUNGRY FOR SOME UNREST i wanna push this beyond a peaceful protest The was something to be said for mares who had the guts to stray from the claiming grounds and wander around on their own. Leviathan knew of stallions who wouldn't hesitate to rape anything with the right parts, and although he wasn't one of them, risking that took balls. Well, not literally. They wouldn't get raped if they had balls.
Leviathan, being observant, realized that one of these such mares had managed to get herself onto his land. Or she was already there and he wasn't as observant as he thought. In any case, he had claimed the land and everything on it, and she was technically his.
He caught her scent somewhere up the creek, and took up a slow, rocking canter down the winding waterway to find her. It didn't take too long before Leviathan caught sight of a black mare, soaking wet, seeming to have lain herself down in the middle of the stream.
"What a fantastic turn of events! Not only do I get a land, but a pretty mare, too!" he called out. A little flirting went a long way, Leviathan found, and it was probably a good idea to hold off on the snark until he was sure this mare was, in fact, alone. Call him paranoid, but if he didn't notice the mare in his adventuring, he could have skipped over her stallion, too.

Arrow saw him and backed up. All she could think of was him coming closer to her, she didn't want that. She cursed at herself silently for not running when she had the chance. Arrow calmed herself then look at him and said, 'You don't get me.' She stomp the ground and snorted. Arrow looked at him and could tell by how he held himself he had no respect for mares and also by the way he had approached her. She looked around lazily, so he wouldn't expect her to run, so she could get away quickly. She jumped to the opposite bank and saw a way but waited. She was getting to were she could barely keep from shaking.

ooc: My apologies for jumping in, but bow, please start putting spaces when called for. I've modified your post above and put spaces where necessary because frankly it was hard to read before. I've done some other things to it too, capitalization, grammar, etc. The grammar natzi in me couldn't resist. Anyway, just please make an effort to watch your spelling and such.

I AM HUNGRY FOR SOME UNREST i wanna push this beyond a peaceful protest They always thought they were invincible. The mares, Leviathan meant. They thought they were stronger and smarter. He always just wanted to scream 'reality check' whenever a mare decided that she was going to be a Rebel and be all Original. Like he hadn't heard that before. And believe me, he knows how to deal with it.
First things first, though, Leviathan needed to keep his new acquisition in his land. It was doubtful that she was stronger, faster, or more intelligent than he. Leviathan knew how to handle his body in ways that gave him the edge in a true battle; a simple chase was nothing. Never mind that he was the One True Master of Sarcasm.
"You can think you're independent. Fine with me. But let me give you a little lesson in the order of things in the world," Leviathan said. "You don't look older than four, and you're a mare, so I'll keep it simple: stallions basically rule your life. You are mine, and if you have a mind to fight me, you will lose."
This speech had a quality of being rehearsed, modified only slightly for the situation. "There's worse things in the world than being mine." And it was true - there were. If she had been found in a land claimed by a truly evil stallion, one who didn't mind raping and killing, she would already be on the ground in a pool of blood.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Arrow put her head low and whispered to herself"Arrow this is the most retarded thing you could have ever done to yourself." She turned and started walking away and said"I really don't care anymore." She was just walking away, she didn't want to talk anymore. Arrow wouldn't leave, she just wanted to walk around. She moved quietly for a big horse, silently for one to but right now she was just plain scared she couldn't walk that way even if she tryed. She didn't care if he followed her but she hoped he wouldn't. She thought about the fire and why it had to happen to her. Also, why she had been having such bad luck lately. Suddenly, she heard thunder and looked at the sky, then she was loping towards a cliff that would keep her out of the rain when it started. Arrow layed down under the cliff and waited for the storm to begin.

I AM HUNGRY FOR SOME UNREST i wanna push this beyond a peaceful protest If the mare who stood before him had been broken simply with a speech, then Leviathan's opinion of her was off. Way off. He had pegged her as one to not give up easily, and considering he gave that speech to any mare who showed the least signs of resistance.
Leviathan followed the mare on her retreat, thinking of somehow making his intentions clear. He never meant to truly anger her, just put her in her place and maybe get a bit of submission out of her. Was that too much to ask? Leviathan picked up a slow trot and followed her.
At least until the thunder started. Who knew how unpredictable weather could be here? It was next to a beach; Leviathan's limited knowledge of weather told him that places near water stayed more regular. Perhaps a storm was coming from inland? He didn't care to wait and see. The bay stallion picked up his pace and transitioned to a canter in order to make it to the same shelter before the rain started. If there was anything he hated worse than wandering, it was wandering in the rain.
"I'm not hurting you, you know. You can still do pretty much whatever the hell you want, as long as there's no mutiny," he said. His tone came as close to comfort as he was willing to get. There was something endearing about the massive, mean stallion who, as of that moment, was probably the leader of the most powerful territory in the land. He was trying his best to console the mare. 'I'm Leviathan. I guess we should get to know each other better?" Names seemed like a nice step after running away in a rage.

"Just call me Arrow," she replied. She stood up and then said "I hate these storms. They come out of nowhere." She glanced at the stallion, then walked towards the rain and just stood at were the rain couldn't hit her. She sighed, and was glad he wasn't so pushy about staying close by or anything. She liked her alone time. She said, "Oh, and no mutiny." She laughed slightly at the thought of even trying to fight him. He was slightly bigger, no more than slightly. She sighed again and watched the sky. Lighting flashed. She jumped back and shook. She threw her head trying to move back her long mane and half way succeded. Arrow thought, "This isn't so bad, actually. It just gets way too damn hot in this place." She walked forward into the rain and stood getting soaked. She didn't mind the rain, just the lighting and thunder.

I AM HUNGRY FOR SOME UNREST i wanna push this beyond a peaceful protest Leviathan couldn't keep this up. He had a reputation at stake, and he wouldn't stand to have that ruined! He was mean and sarcastic and rude and... well, he was a dark. Leviathan wasn't about to damage this by being nice. The word sounded like a hiss even in his own thoughts.
But what was going to happen if he was not-a-jerk to this one mare? Maybe she'd go out and tell someone. But then he'd just deny it and maybe yell at someone just to prove it. Silly mares couldn't be trusted, anyways. No one was there to see. Leviathan couldn't see any bad outcome.
"Dunno how long it's going to last," he said, his voice softening a little as he descended into the abyss of Not A Jerk-ness. However, this facade turned out to be quite awkward, as the silence was deafening. Leviathan couldn't think of anything to say that wasn't offensive. He didn't have much practice in the realm of small talk; his area of expertise was basically insulting, annoying, and generally pissing others off.
